Polaris uses Profiles and Benchmark Assessments to automatically generate present level of performance, strengths and needs, and generate goals when appropriate.
- Navigate to the Polaris IEP Roadmaps page.
- Select Add next to the desired student.
- Enter IEP Dates and Areas of Focus: Add projected IEP dates and any identified areas of need for your student. Click the Start button.
- Pro Tip: Your IEP start date must be today or in the future in order for goals to generate.
- The academic and functional present level of performance, strengths, needs and goals will be generated if possible based on the recent information in ULS.
- Select Add Assessment under any area of focus to see suggestions based on your student in the right panel.
- Pro Tip: The student must score emerging on the assessment in order for a goal to generate.
