What extensions do I need for my Chrome users now?
Read&Write for Google Chrome houses the main supports your former Co:Writer and Snap&Read users will be familiar with (and more!)
You should also make available the Screenshot Reader extension, and Orbitnote extension.
The Screenshot Reader acts as a support extension for the Screenshot Reader feature on the Read&Write toolbar, allowing for on demand OCR/scanning of non accessible text in the web.
The Orbitnote extension allows users to access our Web PDF solution Orbitnote on click (and some LMS/default PDF options). Please see the below question for more info on Orbitnote. These extensions can be pushed out to your users in the same way Co:Writer and Snap&Read were via Google Admin policy or Microsoft Group Policy.

What about my PDF features?
With a Read&Write license, users get access to use their Read&Write features in Orbitnote. Orbitnote is our Web PDF solution which can be accessed at orbit.texthelp.com. Please reference our Getting Started with Orbitnote user guide.
Orbitnote is also available as a separate license to gain other PDF specific features such as PDF scanning.
What about my iOS users?
Read&Write for iOS is part of any Read&Write license and available to iOS users. It is compatible with MDM deployment. Read&Write for iOS currently has Co:Writer Prediction built in as well as Flexible Spelling, Predict from Page and Topics.
What about PDFs on iOS?
Currently, Read&Write for iOS supports scanning and importing PDFs, though it functions differently from Snap&Read for iOS and is a different experience for former Snap&Read users. To better serve this experience a new OrbitNote for iOS release is scheduled to launch before Snap&Read is discontinued at the end of 2025 with more features and improved PDF handling. I have a Group License, how do I grant access to premium features for my users?
Rostering users for Read&Write/Orbitnote looks a bit different than Snap&Read and Co:Writer. If you have purchased a Group license, please reference this Admin Tool User Guide article. You will license a list of emails with those steps. Please note, this does not send an invite to your users or install the product. If you are an admin and do not have access to manage your license, please reach out to na-support@everway.com for help.
If you have an Unlimited license, your users will automatically see premium features based on your school's domains and will not require rostering!
Where can teachers and students install Read&Write and access learning materials?
Both are available on our Academy page! The Student Resources page hosts links to install Read&Write on any platform.
